St. James's Place plc was founded in 1991 under the name of the J. Rothschild Assurance Group by Mike Wilson, Sir Mark Weinberg and Lord Rothschild and is a provider of a wide and growing range of financial services of outstanding quality.

Listed on the London Stock Exchange, the company has grown strongly and consistently with funds under management now amounting to in excess of £16 billion.
